Credits, not subscriptions. Pay for what a report uses.
Bottom line:You buy a pack of credits. Each report shows its credit hold, the most it can cost, before it starts. When it finishes you pay the metered cost of the searches and model calls it made, at a fixed markup, and the unused part of the hold returns to your balance.

Prices in US dollars. New accounts start with 10 credits. Identifying the person and scoping the research cost nothing.
Credit holds
The most a report can cost, shown first.
A report’s hold is a base amount plus the hold for each area you select, at the depth you choose. With the default areas selected, a standard report holds 20 credits and a deep report 55.
The hold is a ceiling, not the price. The charge is set by the work the report actually does, and anything unspent is returned when it completes. If a report fails through a fault on our side, the whole hold is refunded.

How credits move.
Held on confirm
When you confirm the scope, the report's hold moves out of your balance. Nothing is held while you choose the person or the areas.
Metered while it runs
Every search and model call the report makes is recorded with its cost.
Settled on delivery
The charge is the metered cost at a fixed markup, capped at the hold. The rest returns to your balance.
Refunded on failure
If a report fails through a fault of the service, the full hold is returned.
