Credits, not subscriptions.
You buy credits; an investigation spends them. The cost is estimated before any work begins, and whatever an investigation does not use is returned to your balance.
What an investigation costs.
Each focus area — corporate records, litigation, sanctions, adverse media, and the rest — carries its own credit cost, shown before you confirm. With the default areas selected, a standard investigation runs about 140 credits; a deep investigation about 340. You choose the areas and the depth; the estimate updates as you do. Credits are reserved when you confirm and settled when the report is delivered — unspent reserves come back.
New accounts receive a small grant of credits, enough to see how the work reads before buying a pack.
